Shape Grammar
This module introduces endless possibilities to design a building with the repitition of shapes and shape rules.

Project 1 - Exercise 1
Project 1 is divided into four exercises, to prepare us for Project 2. Exercise 1 is simple, where we are to create a 2D shape rule and to repeat the rules as we get to the final design. It is seen in the image on the left where each designs are unique in their own way, but with the same shape rule.

Project 1 - Exercise 2
Exercise 2 takes it to the next level, where the shape rules are in 3D form, allowing more dimensions to the final design.

Project 1 - Exercise 3
Exercise 3 requires 2 2D shape rules for each design, alternating each rule in the process of creating the final design. As seen in the image on the left, each design has their own identity although carrying the same shape rules.

Project 1 - Exercise 4
Exercise 4 is similar to exercise 3, except that it is in 3D shapes. In this exercise, it is obvious to see that the shapes created are slowly transforming to a buildable design building.

Project 2
Project 2 would be the final submission where we were required to create at least 5 shape rules and to produce them into 6 different designs. One final design will be selected as the design building. Elements such as doors, windows, roof etc. are added to the final design to create a bungalow that consists of a minimum of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms and 2 kitchens. Thus, my final design is chosen and have transformed into a comfortable bungalow by the beach.
