Identifying Innovative Passive Design Strategies


For this assignment, we were to form a group of 7 and choose two different buildings to analyse on their respective passive designs. We have chosen Park Royal Hotel from Singapore, and Setia International Centre from Kuala Lumpur. We have learnt to study the ecotect of each building, sun shading devices, skylights, vegetative shadings, low-E glass, and many more passive or active designs of each building. Hence, our knowledge expanded and we are aware of the technology in the modern day today.
