Project 1a

For this project, we were to make a video entitled "Famous People Familiar Faces", we were given a list of the famous architects and were to choose one and make a bibliography video of him. We chose Frank Lloyd Wright, and here is the video about him! Falling Water, one of his well-known building, was featured in this video as part of our inspiration. Enjoy!
Project 1b
We were to choose one of Wright's famous architecture, and to create 5 concept models out of his building. We were also to produce technical drawings of his building; plans, elevations, sections and perspective. The concept models and drawings are then presented to our lecturers.
Project 2

Project 2 introduces Pantai Kerachut, Penang. We went there for a site visit on 20/09/2013. After the site visit, we are grouped into a large group to make a site analysis of our respective site. For my group, our site analysis is based on site B, the meromictic lake. Here are some pictures of the site visit. Enjoy!

Project 2a

For this project, we were to select 4 pictures that we have taken at the botanical garden as our main inspiration. Later, we were to draw 4 concept drawings and made 4 concept models based on the 4 pictures.
After that, we are divided into groups of 2. We were to design a baywatch for our selected user, the forest ranger, based on the 4 concept drawings. The baywatch tower is designed to enable the ranger to carry out his daily duties in the most comfortable yet easy way. The baywatch tower is named Diminuted, and it is inspired by Lotus Leaves.

Project 2b

For the final project, it is an individual project. I was asked to design a retreat house for the forest ranger to stay for a couple of days. I have chosen the Lily Pad to be my inspiration for the retreat house. This retreat house comprises of a living room, storeroom, bathroom, bedroom and a kitchen. Its unique details are that the bedroom and roof are mobile.
